Does Dad love to get outside? This is his weekend. The cloudy-then-sunny trend will hold fairly steady through Father’s Day with morning clouds burning off to sunny afternoons. Fairly perfect.

Friday morning starts with plenty of cloud cover for most areas. Increased marine onshore flow will bring even some light sprinkles to the beaches on Friday. Portland will just see heavy clouds that break up after lunch time. High of 73.

For the weekend both Saturday and Sunday should start out with clouds then see gradual clearing. Saturday will warm to 80 degrees.

On Sunday a weak system could bring in more clouds that last longer into the day, but the high will still warm to 81 once the clouds move off. Some areas in the south Willamette Valley could see higher temps if the marine clouds don’t make it down that far.

A peek at next week shows Monday to have much the same weather as the weekend did, but a stronger system with some possible rain should move in by Tuesday.
