Swansea City midfielder, George Byers, has tweeted out a three-word message for Swans supporters after their victory over QPR on Wednesday.

The 23-year-old has started the season in impressive form and has helped the Swans to an unbeaten start after four games of the Championship campaign.

Earlier on Thursday, Byers tweeted: 'Love this team' with a love heart emoji, which is sure to have endorsed him into Swansea hearts even more.

The tweet is below and includes a picture of the Swansea man clearly making a gesture that he was happy to be playing for the club.

Byers signed for the Swans following his release from Watford in 2016. He made his breakthrough season in the last campaign where he played 25 times and scored three goals for the senior side.

He was a regular starter during the second-half of the season, and that caused Steve Cooper and Swansea to make the decision to offer Byers a new three-year contract, which would see the midfielder stay at the club until 2022.

Byers was often a big part of the Swansea development sides, and was named the Under-23's development side's player of the season for the 2017-2018 campaign.

Swansea will be looking to continue their excellent start to the season when they host Birmingham City in the lunchtime kick-off.
