Derby County were held to a goalless draw by Nottingham Forest in last night’s East Midlands derby, with Frank Lampard walking away with what could be a valuable point in the race for the play-offs.

In truth, it wasn’t a classic game and a draw was a fair result, with two of the Championship’s top-six contenders cancelling each other out.

For Derby, Tom Lawrence was involved in the thick of the action, particularly during the first-half, when a Tendayi Darikwa challenge on him could’ve led to a Rams penalty.

That was not the Welshman’s only involvement and he tended to be busy for much of the evening.

However, amongst some serious attacking quality at Derby, the 24-year-old divides opinion at Pride Park.

Lampard regularly includes Lawrence in his side, and he’s made 20 appearances so far this season, but he doesn’t convince everyone.
