A solitary goal from Kadeem Harris confirmed the three points for Sheffield Wednesday as they returned to the top of the table after a 1-0 victory over Luton Town.

In what was a cagey first-half, neither side played anything particularly pretty with the deadlock struggling to be broken.

Harris' strike gave Wednesday the lead and the win after just ten minutes of the second-half. Jacob Murphy's floated cross found Steven Fletcher at the back post, who could only head down for Harris to tap in.

It was a third win out of four for Caretaker manager Lee Bullen as he looks to stake his claim for the full-time role.

Luton, on the other hand, are in a spot of bother. They have now taken just one point from their first four games. Their only victory in the Carabao Cup.

Sheffield Wednesday travel to Preston on Saturday, whilst Luton take another trip up to Yorkshire to face Barnsley.
