COOKEVILLE, Tenn.--A Nashville man is one of two men arrested in Middle Tennessee for solicitation of a minor for rape of a child.

Cookeville Police report one of the arrests took place on February 13 when 47-year-old Kenny Lum Whaley of Kodak, Tennessee communicated with a police officer posing as a minor online. Police say he travelled to Cookeville to "complete the act" and was arrested. He was booked into the Putnam County Jail on $50,000 bond.

On Thursday, an Antioch man was also arrested. Police say 30-year-old Justin Mack is a registered sex offender with a prior charge of criminal attempt to commit child molestation. He was also arrested in Georgia in 2011 during a similar sting to the one conducted by Cookeville Police.

Police say Mack also solicited the officer posing as a minor and traveled to Cookeville, where he was arrested. He is being held on $100,000 bond at the Putnam County Jail also.
