UPDATE, Oct. 18 — Around 11 p..m. Thursday, SWAT entered the home and located the suspect. He was suffering from a medical emergency and was transported to the hospital. Police said the man may have overdosed during the incident. A gun was also found inside the residence.
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (KTXL) — A SWAT team is in a North Sacramento neighborhood where a wanted man has barricaded himself inside a home.
The Sacramento Police Department says officers responded to a domestic disturbance at a home in the area of Grand Avenue and Belden Street around 4 p.m. Thursday.

An armed man wanted on a felony post-release warrant has been refusing officers’ commands to leave his home, according to police.
Hours after the standoff began, streets in the area were still blocked off. Around 8 p.m., residents living in the neighborhood were evacuated and sent to Grant Union High School.
