PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Providence College announced its Buy A Mask, Give A Mask initiative today [Aug. 5]. Through August 21, donors who make a gift of $30 or more will receive a Friar-branded mask and will also provide a mask to a current Providence College student. Donors have the option to designate their donation to Emergency Student Support or Varsity Athletics through the Fund for Providence College to further support members of the Providence College community who have been impacted by the coronavirus pandemic.  As part of the College's reopen plan (https://reopen.providence.edu/health-safety/), face masks/coverings are required for everyone on campus. Your matching gift of a special-edition mask will provide an additional option for students and encourage regular washing and rotation of face coverings.

The donation is tax deductible (subtract $13 for each mask from the total donation). Up to four additional masks may be purchased using the online giving form.
 
Donor masks will be mailed within 2-3 weeks once order is placed, while the student masks will be distributed during the first week of on campus classes. The masks are one size fits all and featured elastic straps with an adjustable toggle for comfortable, behind-the-ear fit. The masks also include an integrated and adjustable metal nose frame and an interior filter pocket. Masks will be shipped from our partner, Coast to Coast Promotional Products. International orders will be accepted (additional shipping charge may apply).
