Alleged dagga dealer with pending case against him arrested in Primrose

EMPD officers nabbed a man in Primrose for alleged dagga dealing.

Information acted upon by the EMPD Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) on Saturday, at 11am, resulted in an alleged dagga dealer being arrested in Primrose.

The suspect was allegedly found in possession of 558.40g of loose dagga and 1 168.05g of dagga cookies, with an estimated street value of R4 500.

The 29-year-old male suspect was arrested in Amsterdam Street.

Additionally, two digital scales and dagga pipes were seized.

The suspect has a pending case for dagga peddling for which he is due to make a court appearance on June 27.

He was previously arrested by the EMPD’s DEU on March 25 in Primrose.

The suspect was detained and charged at the Primrose Police Station for possession of and dealing in dagga.

He was expected to appear in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday.
