Sixteen suspects netted in Primrose

The Primrose police share their latest arrest statistics.

The Primrose police arrested 16 suspects between June 13 and 19.

This is according to the latest arrest statistics released by the station.

The accused were charged with a number of different offences.

Charges included domestic violence, assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, driving under the influence of alcohol, possession of drugs, attempted theft of copper cables, bribery, malicious damage to property and dealing in dagga.

The Primrose SAPS station commander, Col Albertina Vesi, thanked everyone who contributed to the successful arrests.

Most of the suspects appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court, where their cases were postponed for various reasons, while others paid admission of guilt fines at the station and were released.
