Primrose police arrested a 35-year-old woman on a charge of drug possession last Saturday.
The arrest was made while officers were on a routine patrol in Filbert Road.

“During the patrol, police noticed the suspect leaving a house where illegal activities are reported to happen,” said Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.
“When the accused saw police she attempted to go back into the house, but the police ordered her to stop.
“When they searched her they found a plastic packet containing a white substance, believed to be drugs, in her possession.
“The house was also searched, but nothing was found.”

The woman was arrested and detained at the Primrose Police Station.
She has since appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court, where her case was postponed for plea and trial.
