VERMILLION, S.D. –
KK Leddy tossed a five-hit shutout and
Montana DeCamp hit her sixth home run of the season as North Dakota State defeated South Dakota 7-0 in a Summit League single-game played on Saturday, April 20, at Nygaard Field, to complete the series sweep.

NDSU (33-12, 11-1 SL) is scheduled to host Omaha (4-36, 2-10 SL) in a three-game series April 27-28 at Tharaldson Park.

Leddy (18-7) scattered five hits to complete her second shutout of the series and ninth of the season. She struck out two and walked one.

North Dakota State squeezed out a run in the top of the first when
Cara Beatty dropped the bunt and
Katie Shoultz scored from third. Shoultz led off with a walk, stole second and moved to third on
Stephanie Soriano's single.

Montana DeCamp whacked the first pitch she saw in the top of the third for a home run over the left center fence to extend the lead to 2-0. It was the sixth home run of the season for DeCamp.

NDSU tacked on another pair of runs in the top of the fifth.
Zoe Stavrou rapped a two-out, two-run single to right field to score
Vanessa Anderson and Beatty and make it 4-0.

The Bison posted three insurance runs in the top of the seventh. Beatty and Anderson both scored on errors.
Sam Koehn doubled home
Madyson Camacho. Koehn and Beatty led NDSU with two hits.

Alexis Devers (12-11), Sarah Lisko, Gill Woodward and Dustie Durham pitched for South Dakota (30-21, 11-4 SL) with Devers taking the loss. Lauren Eamiguel had two hits for the Coyotes.
