Men's Squash Announces Class Of 2024

Columbia adds five newcomers as a part of the Class of 2024.

NEW YORK – Kenneth W. Torrey Head Coach of Squash Jacques Swanepoel announced, on Friday, May 8, the addition of five men to the Columbia Men Squash squad as members of the Class of 2024.

Columbia's incoming class of first years truly has an international flair for the Lions, with four out of the five members of the Class of 2024 coming from international backgrounds.  The class is also split roughly right down the middle in terms of education, with three from the class planning to attend Columbia College and the other two student-athletes setting their sights on enrolling in the Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science.

"We are excited to have such a big and talented class joining us this year," said Swanepoel.  "All five newcomers will be contenders for spots in the starting lineup and it is especially exciting since we will only graduate four players over the next two years. We also believe this incoming group is a perfect fit for our team culture and we are excited to see what they can accomplish over their four years at Columbia."
