The Indiana basketball program is in the mix for a few other recruits in the 2019 class. We break down each recruitment here, and where the Hoosiers stand.

Indiana basketball and Archie Miller remain heavily involved in the 2019 recruiting as they try to round out their class.

Already with five-star Trayce Jackson-Davis, three/four-star Armaan Franklin, and graduate transfer Joey Brunk, Indiana looks to grab one or two more recruits in the late signing period.

Losing their top two scorers from last season, Langford and Morgan, Indiana needs to reload to compete atop of the Big Ten conference.

Looking to get back to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2016, these remaining prospects could take the Hoosiers over the hump and back playing meaningful games in late March.

Here are the four remaining prospects Indiana is involved with, and where they stand in their recruitment, plus my prediction of where they will end up.

Trendon Watford

The brother of Indiana great, Christian Watford, Trendon is one of the lone five-star recruits still available in the 2019 class. Indiana, who was rumored to have a ‘great’ in-home visit with Watford last Sunday, seem to trail Alabama and Memphis when it comes to his recruitment. Though he has LSU listed in final list as well, the FBI investigation may be too much to overcome for Will Wade.

Indiana has the need for scorers and playmakers on the wing, espeicailly with the uncertainty of Jerome Hunter, and Watford would be an impact player for Miller and the Hoosiers. The question is whether or not Watford will make another visit to Bloomington before he announced his commitment. I think he surprises some people with his choice.

Prediction: Alabama

Lester Quinones

One of the best, if not the best, shooters still available in the class, Quinones is scheduled to be on campus April 24-26 for his official visit. A difficult recruitment to read, he has Memphis, Maryland, Michigan and LSU listed in his final five, in addition to the Hoosiers.

The Hoosiers need shooting so you would assume this would be a perfect match, but has Archie done a good enough job building a strong relationship to bring him to Bloomington? His visit will be crucial in the development of his recruitment, as he just announced his decision date of May 10.

Prediction: Memphis

Anthony Harris

Originally a Virginia Tech commit, Harris de-commited after Buzz Williams left Blacksburg for Texas A&M. Coming off of a torn ACL in December, he hasn’t played a lot of basketball as of late, but is another top-70 prospect who could make an immediate impact in Bloomington.

Involved in his original recruiting process, Indiana failed to secure a visit from the 6-foot-3 guard, essential ending their recruitment of him. Now, with an official visit scheduled for this weekend, April 20, the Hoosiers may steal him away from North Carolina, his only other official visit scheduled.

Prediction: Indiana

Jalen Windham

Another prospect who reopened his recruitment, originally committed to Georgia State before head coach Ron Hunter took the Tulane job, Windham is an in-state kid who would be a nice addition to round out Indiana’s 2019 class.

A three-star prospect, he is a good shooter who has great size for a wing in the Big Ten conference. Though the Hoosiers have yet to offer Windham a scholarship, he is very good fiends with Trayce Jackson-Davis and Armaan Franklin, two recruits already signed with Indiana.

Prediction: Creighton
