Nike's 2018 Air Jordan 11 "Concord" Is Supposedly the Largest Sneaker Release in History
Setting the record high.
The highly anticipated re-release of the Air Jordan 11 “Concord” over the weekend has apparently become the largest sneaker drop in history.
YouTuber and sneaker enthusiast Jacques Slade took to Twitter on Monday, stating that the “Air Jordan 11 ‘Concord’ 2018 release was the single largest sneaker drop in industry history.” In 2016, Nike set a new record through the re-release of the “Space Jams,” becoming the company’s largest and most successful shoe launch.
It’s unclear as to whether the claims are verifiable, but with the previous Air Jordan 11 “Space Jams” re-release fetching such high numbers several years previous, one can only assume that it’s true.
