Converse JP's All-Star Cut Line Offers Customizable, Duo-Layered Chucks
Complete with broken lines and double-canvas uppers.
Lately, Converse has been riding the wave of special projects, like the TAKAHIROMIYASHITATheSoloist. Jack Purcells or the recently spotted Tyler, the Creator Rainbow GOLF le FLEUR*. This time around, the footwear label has unveiled its new All-Star Cut Line, which lets you create your own set of reworked Converse sneakers.
The Chuck Taylor All-Star will be the first silhouette to be available under the new line. Etched with broken lines and a double-layered canvas body, you can now chop up a pair of hi-tops to your liking, cutting all the way to the lower ankles to create a pair of lows, adding frays to the collars or sectioning off one layer of the top for a duo-tone effect. The sneakers will be offered up in two colorways: the white pair comes with a black inner layer; the black pair, red.
Though no official release dates have been confirmed, the Converse All-Star Cut Line is expected to be available in July for $75 USD.
In other related news, atmos and Nike have rejoined for an exclusive black Air Max 95 colorway.
