Converse Drops Two Aviator-Inspired Chuck Taylor All-Stars

Taking cues from bomber jackets and space flight.

Converse continues to remix its star silhouette with a aeronautic-inspired duo of leather sneakers. The Chuck Taylor All-Star 70 “Flight School” pack reworks the signature style with shiny leather in the style of bomber jackets and spacesuits.

Offered in black or silver options, the high-top kicks retain the familiar white rubber midsole and black foxing, with an extra black accent beneath the toe. Matching eyelets, ventilation holes and webbing on the heel reinforce the muted motif, with Converse’s trademark circular logo on the medial side rendered in a similar shade. Each variation offers a different metallic-toned leather upper, shiny and soft for an unparalleled blend of head-turning appeal and comfort, the latter reinforced by a cushy Ortholite insole.

Shop the two new silhouettes on Converse’s website for $95 USD each.

Most recently, Converse delivered a Duck Camo-covered One Star Ox.
