The Philadelphia Eagles sign three more players after adding their 11th and 12th players to the team’s injured reserve. It’s all here on the roundup.

When was the last time you heard the phrase ‘I have good news and bad news’? If you’re a Philadelphia Eagles fan, it would seem that all you’ve been getting is the latter. Well, unfortunately Eagles fans, as most of you already know, there’s more.

If you feel like everyone’s been kicking you while you’re down, then you might want to go ahead and get in the fetal position one more time. After placing both Corey Clement and Josh Sweat on the team’s IR, Philly’s list of unavailable players is getting pretty ridiculous.

If you don’t believe us, you can count them yourself.

Let’s run through the list quickly.

After adding Clement and Sweat on Monday, the list now includes them and cornerbacks Jalen Mills, Ronald Darby and Elie Bouka. Then there’s two safeties, Rodney McLeod and Chris Maragos, defensive end Derek Barnett, and linebacker Paul Worrilow.

That’s just on the defensive side of the ball.

On offense, they’re without running back Jay Ajayi and two wide receivers we all thought would play a huge role in 2018’s success, Mike Wallace and Mack Hollins.

New faces arrive (again).

To replace Clement and Sweat, Philly brought in defensive end Daeshon Hall and running back Boston Scott to add to the active roster. In another move, they also signed another cornerback to their practice squad. This one’s Josh Hawkins.

Most recently, Hawkins spent time on the Kansas City Chiefs practice squad before being released on December 6th. Boston was drafted 201st overall by the New Orleans Saints, made the 53-man roster but was demoted to the practice squad. That’s where Philly found him.

Next. Eagles projected to have least amount of cap space in 2019. dark

Hall’s had a rough go so far in the NFL. The Carolina Panthers drafted him in 2017, 77th overall. He’d end up on their IR and got waived on September 1st of that same year. Since then, he’s spent time on the practice squads of both the San Francisco 49ers and the Houston Texans.

He now joins one of the best defensive lines in the NFL. We’ll all be watching the new guys closely.
