Jalen Ramsey, Calais Campbell will have X-Factor abilities in 'Madden NFL 20'

As always, the new player ratings for “Madden NFL 20” has the football community buzzing, whether it’s fans and players disagreeing with Electronic Arts, or others agreeing with them. As we mentioned earlier on Monday, the Jags have two players who came in with ratings that are over 90 in Calais Campbell and Jalen Ramsey. If that wasn’t enough to satisfy both players, they also will be the only two Jags to have X-Factor abilities, which is a new feature EA put in the game to aid players to help increase their lead, or help gain ground on an opponent.

Ramsey, who has a 96 overall rating, will have a shutdown X-Factor ability which will allow him to provide tighter coverage than others and snag interceptions during contested catches. To activate it, players will need to force two incompletions with Ramsey or pick a quarterback off with him. For the opposition to deactivate it, the they will need to gain 30 offensive yards after the ability is triggered.

Campbell, who has a 92 overall rating, will have an unstoppable force X-Factor ability, which will allow quicker block shredding. Regardless as to how a player chooses to rush the quarterback once the ability is activated on Campbell, he’ll win single matchups. To activate it, the user will need to get two sacks with him (three in competitive games), and to deactivate it, opponents will need to gain 10 yards on the offensive end.

Both X-Factor abilities sound rather interesting and Ramsey and Campbell’s special abilities seem like they could certainly kill the offensive momentum of a team. Fans will be able to put their new abilities to the test on August 2 if they are buying the standard edition of “Madden NFL 20,” while the ultimate and superstar editions will be available on June 30.
