Lincoln's second Chick-fil-A location will be opening next week.
The company said Tuesday that its new restaurant at 4770 O St. is set to officially open Feb. 21.
However, according to the local restaurant's Facebook page, there is a VIP pre-opening event on Monday night. Those wanting a chance to be selected for the pre-opening event need to take a picture of themselves in front of the new building and submit it in the comments section of the Facebook page no later than Wednesday. Those selected will be contacted through Facebook.
As it does with every new opening, Chick-fil-A is encouraging people to camp out starting at 6 p.m. on Feb. 20, with 100 to be selected to receive a free chicken sandwich each week for a year.
Chick-fil-A started building the location last summer after buying the site and demolishing the former Perkins restaurant that closed in April.

The 4,000-square-foot restaurant will have a double drive-thru and an outdoor seating area. It also will have two mobile ordering pickup parking spaces, along with a designated mobile pick-up counter, and a two-story indoor playground with an interactive toddler section.
It will employ approximately 85 people.
“I am excited to bring another Chick-fil-A to Lincoln to meet our growing customer base and have an opportunity to serve the community outside my restaurant,” local franchise owner and operator Dustin Andrews said in a news release.
The new Chick-fil-A will be Lincoln's second. Another one is planned for the Nebraska Union along with a Steak 'n Shake.
The opening of the two on-campus restaurants has been postponed twice, but Ryan Lahne, interim director of Nebraska Unions, said construction is nearing completion and the two restaurants should open, "sometime in the month of March."
Lincoln's first Chick-fil-A at SouthPointe Pavilions opened in 2015.
