Homicide investigation in Gresham neighborhood

GRESHAM, Ore. – Homicide investigators say a man was found dead in Gresham on Saturday morning, and they are asking for the public’s help in finding any leads in the case.

The medical examiner is working to confirm the man’s identity and a cause of death. They will release his name once family members have been notified.

The investigation started just before 7 a.m. Saturday (Aug. 17) when someone found a man dead near Northeast 181st Avenue and Wilkes Road. They deemed the death “suspicious” and the East County Major Crimes Team is calling it a homicide incident.
