Shriners fundraising food cart back for Mt. Angel Oktoberfest after theft

MT. ANGEL, Ore. — The Shriners food truck is back up and running at Oktoberfest in Mount Angel this weekend.

The cart was stolen from Al Kader Shriners in Wilsonville back in June, but it recently turned up in Northeast Portland.

They discovered thieves took everything from inside, including a microwave and a fridge. With insurance and donations, however, they were able to replace what was stolen.

They use the food truck as a fundraiser for the Shiners Hospital for Children.
