DOUGLAS COUNTY, Ga. (STORYFUL) - Police in Douglas County, Georgia, were out on a ‘polar patrol’ around neighborhoods on June 14, giving free ice cream to local kids as part of community outreach.

Darius Bailey, Owner of D. Bailey & Associates Realty, shared footage of his son excitedly running to the polar patrol van in Winston to receive his ice cream from officers.

“Wow this is amazing,” Bailey says. “Douglas County Sheriff’s Department, giving away ice cream. That’s awesome.”
