How to Register for an Absentee Ballot in Kentucky

Coronavirus is changing the way America votes.
The Kentucky primary was originally scheduled to happen in May. The COVID-19 pandemic postponed that vote to June 23.
This election will look different than any other. Your typical polling place will most likely not be open. To reduce the amount of exposure between polling workers and voters, in some counties there may be only location where you can vote in-person.
Make sure your voice is heard without waiting in long lines on June 23rd by requesting an absentee ballot online at GoVoteKy.com. It took me less than five minutes to enter my information and finalize my request.
You have until June 15 to request an absentee ballot. A few days later you will receive the ballot in the mail with a pre-paid return envelope. Election officials ask you to submit your ballot as soon as possible to help them process the ballots most efficiently, but they will accept all votes that are postmarked by June 23. If you have any other questions or concerns, contact your local county clerk.
The only downside to voting absentee from home? You don't get an "I Voted" sticker.
