FARGO (KFGO) – The North Dakota Highway Patrol says a 75-year-old Twin Valley, Minnesota man was killed when his car collided with a semi-truck on I-94 in Fargo Tuesday afternoon.
The man was westbound when he lost control of his car and swerved, glancing off a bridge guardrail before striking the trailer of the westbound semi. The state patrol says it appears the man may have had a medical condition prior to the crash.
A 75-year-old woman from Mahnomen, Minnesota, who was his passenger, was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Capt. Bryan Niewind says the passenger indicated the driver had a medical problem prior to the crash. The truck driver, from Texas, was not hurt.
