FARGO, N.D. (KFGO) – Organizers plan another protest in Fargo following the death of George Floyd. It’s planned for this Friday starting at 1 p.m. with a rally at Island Park and will then move to City Hall where a sit-in is planned outside.
Activists involved in organizing the protest say it will be a non-violent event. Authorities are aware of the event.
Several thousand people turned out for a peaceful rally and march through downtown Fargo Saturday morning. By early that evening, well-organized “instigators” who traveled to Fargo to incite violence, led many of the hundreds of people in the downtown crowd to riot.
