UPDATE: Police say they arrested Mantraz Jones, 24, of Oklahoma City, in connection to the homicide. The victim has been identified as Demetrius Spratt, 20, of Oklahoma City.
OKLAHOMA CITY – A homicide investigation is underway in northwest Oklahoma City, police say.
A man’s body was found in an apartment complex at around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday near NW Expressway and Rockwell.
Police tell News 4 the man was shot to death and they are investigating the incident as a homicide. The man has not yet been identified pending notification for next of kin.
Officials say the suspect fled the scene and is on the run. A suspect description has not yet been released.
Authorities believe there was some type of altercation between the victim and the suspect, during which the victim was shot by the suspect.
