OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – Police responded to a shots-fired call from Penn Square Mall.
Oklahoma City police tell News 4 no one was hit by the gunfire. One person has a minor injury from shrapnel.
Two off-duty officers were working security at the mall when they heard shots fired and responded to the Theater area and chased the suspect out of the mall.
Officials say this was an isolated incident between two patrons.
The mall was not placed on lockdown but since it was close to the normal closing time when the incident took place, mall management closed early according to police.
The suspect is still on the loose and police are working to release more details after interviewing witnesses.
The investigation is ongoing.
