Cheyenne Had Second-Warmest September Ever in 2019

If you thought, last month was unusually warm for September, you are right.

That's according to just-released figures from the Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service.

The agency posted the following statement on its website on Tuesday, Oct. 1:

''September 2019 was the 2nd warmest September on record for Cheyenne with an average temperature of 64.0 degrees. The warmest September was 64.7 degrees in 2015."
