Summit County Sheriff's Office is searching for Carl L. Crumrine, 69, of West Virginia, who was reported to have not been seen since 5:30 a.m. on Monday.

Crumrine is described to a Caucasian male with gray hair and blue eyes that's 5-feet-10-inches tall and weighs about 240 pounds. He's believed to be wearing a camo shirt, coat and pants with an orange and black hunter's vest. He's also reported to be new to the area and was prepared for cold weather, but has a small amount of food with him and possibly possessing a hunting rifle.

According to a press release from the agency, Crumrine was hunting with a group in the Lyman Lake area of the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest in the eastern part of the county. He reportedly left the campsite on foot and walked toward Lyman Lake.

A member of his hunting group contacted law enforcement after Crumrine had not returned after sunset.
