HELENA – A Helena judge set bond at $10,000 for an East Helena woman who is accused of trying to set a car on fire.
Katie Wheeler, 28, appeared in Lewis and Clark County Justice Court Monday on charges for attempted arson and partner/family member assault.
According to police, officers arrived at the 2400 block of Broadway just after 10 p.m. Sunday.
Police received reports of a woman who had allegedly assaulted a man and woman and threatened to burn down an apartment.
Police said during their investigation witnesses accused Wheeler of pouring flammable liquid on a vehicle and attempting to light it on fire before others stopped her.
