14 Boise area businesses receive bomb threat via email

BOISE, Idaho (CBS 2) — Three Boise area businesses have been subjected to bomb threats within the past hour.

Boise Police says two of the businesses are in the Boise area and that it's possible that additional businesses could received the threats in attempt to get Bitcoin or money.

The names of businesses haven't been released because police say they are considered victims.

One of the emails was found in a spam filter. None of the threats are believed to be credible, Boise Police says.

Numerous threats have been reported across the country, though it's unclear whether the local incidents are connected to the nationwide threats.
