Phoenix man with memory issues found safe, ending Silver Alert

PHOENIX – Authorities found a Phoenix man who hadn’t seen or heard from in about 24 hours, canceling a Silver Alert that had been issued early Wednesday.
Ausencio Lopez-Rivera was in good health when he was located. He had last been seen walking near 107th Avenue and Camelback Road around 7:45 a.m. on Tuesday.
Police said Lopez-Rivera, 78, suffers from dementia and could have been lost.
No other information was made available.
