GRESHAM, Ore. – Police are asking for the public’s help in finding an infant who was ordered to be put into protective custody.
Authorities say the 12-month-old, named Phoenix Burks, could be in danger.
She was last seen almost a week ago with her mother, Raemi Carter.
On August 1, the court ordered Phoenix be put into protective custody. Carter fled with Phoenix when she was contacted by the Department of Human Services.
Officials said Carter has connections in Oregon, California, and Nevada.
