BILLINGS – Volunteers are worked the 26th annual Saturday Live event at Pioneer Park on Saturday.

The all-day event benefited Billings Public Schools and the education foundation.

This year, over 80 school groups participated. There was also plenty of carnival booths, food trucks, live music and a haunted house.

“It’s just a fun, old-fashioned carnival and a way for the community to help support our local schools. It is a fundraiser for all of the schools, so every school group that comes to Saturday Live is raising money for something that they need at their school. It might be technology, library books, band uniforms, you name it. They are all raising it for something specific to their needs,” said event coordinator Julie Whitworth.

Saturday Live kicked off at 10 a.m. at Pioneer Park.
