Ridership soars with Salt Lake City's new transit network helping to combat inversions

(KUTV) — Since the Frequent Transit Network launched 5 months ago, weekday ridership on the 9 route has almost doubled compared to August 2018, Utah Transit Authority reported.

Saturday ridership has nearly quadrupled on the 2 route and Sunday ridership has increased on the 21.

UTA reported ridership now exceeds 300 riders per day on all three routes. For more information, click here.
