Aumsville man accused of sexually abusing underage girl he was coaching

A coach from Aumsville is accused of sexually abusing an underage girl, according to court documents filed earlier this month.

Jacob Ross Bangert, 43, was indicted on four counts of sex abuse for allegedly having sexual contact with a minor back in 2015.

The indictment claims that he was the girl’s coach during the summer of 2015.

Bangert appeared in court on Wednesday, and will have a plea hearing on September 18.
