A wide array of casual dining options are back in business on the Strip thanks to the recent reopening of Bally’s Las Vegas. Inside the casino resort, a French interpretation of an American classic leads the way at Burger Brasserie (702.946.4346). Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, this lively destination specializes in wings, salads, sandwiches and shakes to go along with artfully topped, expertly grilled burgers. Bally’s is also serving up Mexican favorites like fajitas, enchiladas and tableside guacamole at Tequila Taqueria (702.765.0000) and familiar, homey Italian fare at the friendly Buca di Beppo (702.583.6262).

But there’s much more deliciousness outside the front doors. The eclectic eateries of the Grand Bazaar Shops await, a smorgasbord of fun food in a vibrant outdoor mall environment. Take a break from browsing the stores with a crispy, juicy snack at Blue Ribbon Fried Chicken (702.800.0404) or a mouth-watering take on Los Angeles-style street food at Dirt Dog (702.586.9300). The reality TV restaurant Wahlburgers (702.405.9090) and the deep-dish pizza experts at Giordano’s (702.850.2420) round out the Grand Bazaar’s tastiest offerings.

But the Strip isn’t the only place in Las Vegas where you can roam a beautiful outdoor shopping promenade and take your pick from a plethora of dynamic dining destinations. Head west to Downtown Summerlin, neighboring the Red Rock Resort and the Las Vegas Ballpark, and make the rounds at casual hot spots like California Pizza Kitchen (702.978.5759), Earl of Sandwich (702.750.2005), Shake Shack (702.964.1025) and Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar (702.727.4784). Homegrown restaurants like MTO Café (702.982.0770) and Makers & Finders (702.586.8255) bring some local flavor to breakfast and lunch, while longtime westside institution Grape Street Wine Bar (702.478.5030) offers all your favorite pours alongside entrées like penne alla vodka and grilled salmon in tarragon butter sauce.

Downtown Summerlin’s dining arroyo is also home to the first-of-its-kind Wolfgang Puck Players Locker (702.202.6300), an upscale sports bar with cuisine and style influenced by the celebrity chef’s partners on this special project, members of the Vegas Golden Knights hockey team.

Patio dining is obviously big right now, and the Vegas valley has plenty of alfresco options. Just blocks away from Summerlin is North Italia (702.507.0927), where locals flock to an expansive outdoor area for fresh burrata with crispy pancetta and pizzas topped with roasted mushrooms and smoked mozzarella cheese. Just across the street at Tivoli Village, steakhouse Echo & Rig (702.489.3525) serves farm-to-table cuisine for lunch, brunch and dinner with a second-story patio overlooking the luxurious, Tuscan-inspired mixed-use development.

Back on the Boulevard, Wynn and Encore offer several dramatic outdoor escapes including the romantic space at Sinatra (702.770.5320) and the regal waterside patio at Costa di Mare (702.770.3305), which just happens to pair perfectly with its unique menu of rare Italian seafood.

At Mandalay Bay, some of the city’s all-time best Mexican food is best enjoyed outside overlooking the resort’s tropical beach oasis at Border Grill (702.632.7403). Try the weekend brunch with bottomless mimosas and chilaquiles, huevos rancheros or Peruvian drunken French toast. And Bellagio’s restaurant patios all have ideal fountain views, naturally, but it’s hard to top the centrally located Lago by Julian Serrano (702.693.8865). Enjoy a variety of Italian small plates while you watch Vegas do what Vegas does.
