People suffering with migraines in Lichfield and Burntwood are being invited to attend a new event.

The Migraine Meetup session has been organised by Barbara Box with the help of The Migraine Trust to help create a local support network.

The first session will take place at Wade Street Church on 23rd March.

Barbara, from Handsacre, said living with migraines can leave people feeling isolated.

“Migraine can be such a debilitating and lonely condition,” she explained. “Lack of understanding about it can exacerbate this.

“That is why it is important for people with migraine to meet and support each other, and share their experiences of what it is like to live with this complex neurological condition.

“I invite anyone with the condition to attend, and if successful, I am hoping to make it a regular event.”

The Meet-up is taking place from 10.30am to 12pm on 23rd March. There will be tea and cake available and people will be invited to make a small donation towards migraine research. For more details email [email protected].
