CINCINNATI (WKRC) - Kentucky and Ohio both made the top ten list for the nation's fattest states in 2019. That's according to a study by WalletHub.
The study measured states' obesity and overweight prevalence, health consequences, food consumption and fitness to determine standings.
States in the deep south were found to be the "fattest" by the study, measuring highest in the prevalence of obese and overweight people. Kentucky also made number three for the highest number of overweight children.
Toledo was the only city outside of the south to make it to the top ten in the coinciding fattest cities list.
