June 30:

Trespassing: Officer issued a male adult a citation for trespassing and released him with a court date. The male left the area without incident.

Civil Matter: On 6/30/2019 at approximately 2013 hrs. I responded to a local residence on reports of property damage caused by a stray golf ball by an unknown individual. Information was gathered for a report.

July 1:

Theft: On 6/30/2019 I responded to a W. Mesquite Blvd. casino on a reported theft which took place on 06/23/2019. I gathered information and completed a report.

Wanted Person: Officer arrested a male adult for an active warrant.

Theft from Vehicle: Officers took a report for a local resident who had both license plates stolen

from her vehicle.

Person on Foot: Officers cited an adult female for jaywalking.

Property Damage, Non-Vandalism: Report taken on property damage at local residence.

Intoxicated Person: I was patrolling the area of Jensen park and observed an intoxicated male with

an open container of alcohol. The male was cited and released to his friend

without incident.

Controlled Substance Problem: A female adult was arrested for possession of methamphetamine.

July 2:

Civil Matter: Officer responded to a reported traffic accident on private property involving a

vehicle backing into a parked/unoccupied vehicle. Neither party wanted to

complete a report, and the owner of the parked vehicle said he wasn’t concerned

about it. Nothing further.

Wanted Person: Officers arrested an adult male for a bench warrant issued by Mesquite Municipal

Court.

Theft: Report taken on a theft from a local business earlier in the week.

Traffic accident W/O injury: Officer responded to a traffic accident with no reported injuries. It was

determined to be a non-reportable accident and a driver’s exchange form was

completed.

Controlled Substance Problem: Responded to a traffic hazard and one adult male was cited for drug paraphernalia.

Hit & Run: took a report of a hit and run at a casino. There are no suspects at this time.

Theft: officer responded to a local gas station on a report of a stolen IPad. One female suspect was quickly identified via surveillance footage and was arrested at a local casino a short time after the incident occurred.

July 3:

Theft from Vehicle took a report of theft from a motor vehicle. There are no suspects at

this time.

Wanted Person: Officers responded to a Mesa Blvd. casino in reference to a white male adult matching

the description of a robbery suspect.  This subject was taken into custody for

multiple felony charges.  During a search incident to arrest, drug paraphernalia

was found in his pocket.

Traffic Stop: Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle, One male was issued a citation

for open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle.

Property Damage, Non-Vandalism: Officers responded to a local residence reference a report of a fight in progress. One female was cited and released for vandalism and tampering with a motor vehicle.

Animal complaint: Officers responded to a residence reference an animal problem. The incident was forwarded to animal control officers for follow up.

Wanted Person: One adult female was arrested for a felony warrant out of Las Vegas.

July 4:

Trespassing: Officers located a male trespassing at a casino. One adult male was arrested for trespassing.

Animal Bite: Officers responded to a local residence in reference an animal bite. This report will be forwarded to Animal Control.

July 5:

Domestic Violence: Officer responded to an E. Pioneer Blvd. casino reference a domestic battery. One male adult was arrested for domestic battery, obstructing a public officer, and trespass.

Intoxicated Person: Officers responded to a call of disorderly intoxicated males in a drive through,

one adult male was arrested for DUI.

Sex Offense: Detectives received information about possible child sexual abuse that occurred in Mohave County Arizona approximately 10 years ago.  The information was forwarded to Mohave County Sheriff’s Office.

Wanted Person: Mesquite Police arrested an adult male with an active Mesquite Municipal Court

Warrant.

Person on Foot: An officer observed a female with a local warrant. The female was arrested upon

confirmation of the warrant.

Unknown Problem: Officers responded to a call of a suicidal person, one adult male was

transported to the hospital for a mental health evaluation.

Fraud: Officers responded to the Mesquite Police Department to take a report of credit

card fraud.

Person on Foot: Officers conducted a stop on an adult male for jaywalking. The male was arrested

for minor in possession of Marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.

July 6:

Wanted Person: One male adult with an active local warrant was stopped by another agency. Local

officers took custody of the male and transported him to the Mesquite Detention Center on the warrant.

DUI: Officers conducted a traffic stop for a traffic offense. One female was arrested DUI and the traffic offense.

Lost Property: Officers took a report for an adult female who lost her wallet at a local

restaurant.

Traffic Stop: On 7/6/2019 at approximately 2150 hrs I initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle that failed to stop at a stop sign. I contacted the driver who identified the driver by US Passport. I arrested the driver for traffic related charges who has active warrants.
