He once dated glamour model Jordan â but Chris Harvey says he is a whole lot happier being married to a glamourous grandmother 32 years his senior.
The 28-year-old went to school with Jordan when she was plain Katie Price â and long before she acquired her famous FF breasts.
His classmate asked him to the cinema to see Kevin Costner’s 1990 blockbuster Dances With Wolves â and turned up in an all-leather outfit, including thigh boots and black mini-skirt.
Mr Harvey said: ‘She was dolled up to the nines. I got the No.5 bus with her and walked her back to her house. I was totally petrified because of what she was wearing.’
The relationship fizzled out and they went their separate ways in 1994 when she went off to pursue her career.
Mr Harvey had several girlfriends his own age until he met his wife Norma, 60, in 1997 at a Butlins holiday camp in Pwllheli, Caernarfonshire.
She left her husband in Cheshire and four weeks later they were engaged and living in a flat in Brighton.
But Mr Harvey has no regrets when he looks back at his time with the future Jordan at Patcham High School in Brighton.
He said: ‘I found women my age immature. I have always got on better with people older than myself.
‘When I was going out with younger women, the home wasn’t always nice. But older women keep a good home.
‘Jordan is classy but Norma is classy in a different way.’
Jordan, 28, married I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here! co-star Peter Andre in September 2005, and is now expecting her third child.
