A dog walker has described the moment he found a woman who had just been raped in bushes at a Foo Fighters gig.

The woman, 32, was sexually assaulted at Bellahouston Park in Glasgow on Saturday.

She was heard screaming just before midnight and a manhunt is underway for more than one suspect.

The dog walker said: ‘I heard a woman scream and ran to the bushes. One man was standing by the bushes and another was inside the bushes where the woman was.

‘There was a cabin for G4S security staff nearby but they seemed unaware of what was happening so I chased the men.’

G4S, which provided security for the event, told the Daily Record they were helping police with their investigation.

The security company said the woman had suffered a ‘harrowing’ ordeal and they contacted police after finding her in distress.

Police Scotland confirmed it is investigating the reported sexual assault and officers have taped off a section of the park.

The Foo Fighters, led by frontman Dave Grohl who was the drummer in Nirvana, played a two and a half hour set.

The popular American rockers, known for songs such as My Hero and Everlong, are due to be performing in Belfast tonight and Dublin on Wednesday as part of a world tour.
