Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool have registered a transfer interest in Bayer Leverkusen star Kai Havertz, according to reports in Germany.

The 20-year-old is a rising star in the Bundesliga and has caught the eye of almost every top club in the world.

After scoring 20 goals last season, Havertz is expected to push for a move in the summer of 2020.

German outlet Sport 1 claim Premier League giants Liverpool and Manchester City are battling for Havertz and will face competition from United, Arsenal, Chelsea and Spain’s two biggest clubs.

Real Madrid and Barcelona are also keen on Havertz and the attacking midfielder appears set to have his pick of Europe’s biggest clubs.

Bayern Munich are desperate to poach Havertz from Leverkusen, but their Bundesliga rivals are set to demand a stunning £91million for the German.

After watching Benfica collect £113m for Joao Felix this summer, Leverkusen are confident they can demand a similar fee for Havertz.

While Havertz has a good relationship with Bayern, the youngster is thought to be a life-long Barcelona fan.

However, Havertz is yet to make an decision on his future and appears ready to hear out his suitors.

The spending power of the English quintet could be key and Leverkusen are hopeful a bidding war will erupt for the Havertz’s services, who can play through the middle or on either wing.

Havertz joined Leverkusen as an eleven-year-old and has risen through the club’s youth ranks, breaking into the first-team in the 2016/17 campaign.
