Dimapur, May 16 (MExN): In a bid to mitigate the effects of the COVID-19 lockdown crisis and in following the concept of ‘Each One, Reach One’, the All Nagaland Private Schools’ Association (ANPSA) Dimapur carried out a donation of rice bags and biscuits to its member schools in and around Dimapur district on May 16.

Approximately 300 rice bags and 100 biscuit cartons were distributed to all the 7 Zonal In-charges including  Chumukedima Sub-Unit by the President, Dr Andrew Ahoto Sema along with few of the executive members after a brief prayer session, according to a press release from ANPSA Dimapur.

The charity programme was mainly undertaken to help the private schools as most of them were facing financial crunch due to the lockdown, it added.

The items will be further distributed to all the member schools by the in-charges. The ANPSA executive body called upon all private schools to remain optimistic and united during this extraordinary circumstance and help each other in every way possible.
