Dimapur DC cautions against denying entry into wards or colonies  

Dimapur, June 3 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner, Dimapur in a circular has notified that no village, colony GB or chairman under Dimapur District shall deny entry of person(s) returning to Nagaland from outside the State into their wards or colonies, after completion of the stipulated quarantine period or if they are tested negative for COVID-19 for home quarantine as per the existing guidelines of the Government and further no obstructions should be created for setting up of quarantine centres in the wards and colonies. 


DC Dimapur, Anoop Khinchi stated that support and co-operation is required from all ends in the tight against COVID-19. Therefore, any individual or organization issuing unwarranted directives or statements which infringe on individual rights and in violation of Government orders will be liable to be punishable as per See 188 of the Indian Penal Code.
