Woman shot after getting into argument on social media, Columbus Police say

Columbus Police (CPD) is releasing more details about a Saturday morning shooting in the Franklinton area.

CPD says a woman was shot in the abdomen while standing on the front porch of a home in the 200 block of Brehl Avenue. Investigators have revealed the victim was in an argument with another woman on social media when a challenge was issued. A short time later, two cars arrived and someone stood up through the sunroof of a car and fired several shots. A person inside the home fired shots in the direction of the cars before they drove away.

The victim is expected to survive her injuries.
