CARSON CITY, Nev. (News 4 & Fox 11) — Crews have knocked down a 45-acre brush fire on the south end of Carson City.
Carson City fire chief Sean Slamon says the fire broke out near the intersection of US-395 and Topsy Lane on Thursday afternoon.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation, but there was a lot of active lightning in the area at the time of the fire.
