With incumbent Mike O’Brien not running for reelection, the candidate list for District 6 is lengthy — 12 candidates are registered to run. At least nine will attend Tuesday’s forum.
KIRO Radio’s own Mike Lewis will be moderating the April 23 event, grilling candidates on issues related to homelessness, public safety, and more.
District 6 encompasses the northernmost neighborhoods of Seattle, including Ballard, Phinney Ridge, Crown Hill, among others.
The forum will take place at the Phinney Neighborhood Association between 7 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., and will be streamed live by Speak Out Seattle on YouTube.
Up next from Speak Out Seattle will be District 5 on May 9 from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m., and District 3 on May 15 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
