Big Alabama DL ready for return trip to Baton Rouge

LSU came in with an offer for Tim Keenan five and half months ago, early in September. The 2021 defensive tackle out of Birmingham (Ala.) Ramsay took his first trip to Baton Rouge when the Tigers hosted Alabama early in November.

The 6-foot-2, 290 pound sophomore liked what he saw, he has remained in contact with the LSU staff and he is ready to get back to the Boot this weekend.

IN HIS OWN WORDS

"My first visit to LSU was amazing," said Keenan. "The atmosphere was live and the fans are really about their team.

"I want to get back there this time to expand my knowledge more about the university.

"Every other day, I talk to coach Orgeron, coach Johnson and coach Robinson, so we have been talking often. They always talk to me about how they love me down there and that they wanna get me back down there so they can see me again.

"Talking to coach O is great. I think Coach O has a genuine love for me. I am not saying other coaches don’t, but I know he really wants me there and wants to coach me.

"If I did a ranking of my top schools, LSU would be one of my top ones.

RIVALS REACTION

This will be Keenan's second visit of the year. He has already visited Alabama for one of their Junior Days. He is set to visit Clemson March 2. It is still very early in the process for Keenan, one of the top interior defensive lineman in the 2021 class down south. Other than Alabama and LSU, schools like Louisville, South Carolina and Virginia Tech have offered. He has not started to think about favorites or a decision yet.
