EUGENE, Ore.-Last weekend's Oregon country fair saw record crowds and kept law enforcement agencies busy.
The lane county sheriff's office worked more than 120 hours of overtime.
there were also increased patrols from Oregon State Police, Eugene, Springfield and University of Oregon Police.
“We knew that the 50th anniversary was going to be a very big deal and we were really fortunate to have other law enforcement agencies in the area contribute to the enforcement efforts,” said Lane Country Sheriff’s Sergeant of Information, Carrie Carver.
Law enforcement officials issued more than 400 warnings and 200 citations including two DUIIs and 2 overdoses.
